7. GIS for land use planning > 7.5 Structure Plan
7.5.4 Layout of Structure Plan
Level of expertise required for this Chapter: Intermediate; specifically for LUPMIS @ TCPD
If installed, it is the easiest and strongly recommended, to use the LUPMIS 'Printing Tools' to print the final Structure Plan map:

The standard layout for Structure Plans (see Chapter 6.5) contains all marginalia such as location map, scale, UTM grid, latitude / longitude graticule, legend, north arrow, approval seal, source.
The final print of the Structure Plan includes:
LUPMIS remark (see example at end of Chapter 6.3)
- TCPD logo
- Scale bar (see Chapter 6.6.2)
- Legend (see Chapter 6.4)
- Location map (see Chapter 6.3.3)
Map templates will incorporate all these ‘map furniture’ (see Chapter 6.5).
The units and colours have to be standardized for all TCPD Frameworks, as defined in Annex 6.4 and Annex 5 .
